Seamless carbon steel pipes are widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, machinery manufacturing and other fields due to their high strength, pressure resistance and good mechanical properties. Its production process mainly includes the following key steps:

1. Raw material preparation
Select high-quality carbon steel billets to ensure that the chemical composition meets the standards, and clean the surface to remove oxide scale and impurities.

2. Heating and perforation
The billet is heated to about 1200℃ in a heating furnace to make it plastic, and then perforated by a perforator to form a hollow tube billet.

3. Rolling forming
The perforated tube billet enters the rolling mill (such as a skew rolling mill or a continuous rolling mill), and is rolled multiple times at high temperature, gradually extending and adjusting the wall thickness and diameter to form a preliminary seamless steel pipe shape.

4. Sizing and straightening
The steel pipe is adjusted to the outer diameter accuracy by a sizing mill, and then eliminated by a straightening machine to ensure that the straightness and size meet the standards.

5. Heat treatment and testing
The steel pipe undergoes heat treatment processes such as normalizing, annealing or quenching to optimize mechanical properties. Finally, non-destructive testing (such as ultrasonic and eddy current testing) and dimensional inspection are carried out to ensure quality.

6. Finished product processing
Qualified steel pipes are sprayed with labels, oiled for rust prevention, and cut, packaged and stored according to specifications.

The production process of seamless carbon steel pipes is precise, and each link directly affects the performance and quality of the final product. Therefore, the process parameters must be strictly controlled to ensure that the product meets industry standards.
